Kansas Department on Aging
The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) serves all Kansas Seniors by using public and private resources to improve their security, dignity and independence. KDOA believes the quality of life can be improved for Kansans of all ages by creating, building and using public and private coalitions to leverage fiscal and human resources.
LTC Ombudsmen
The office coordinates the work of long-term care ombudsmen, who act as advocates for residents of long-term care facilities across the state. The office works to improve the quality of life for residents of long-term care facilities across the state. It also recruits and oversees the efforts of volunteer long-term care ombudsmen.
Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (KAHSA)
Founded in 1954, the Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (KAHSA) represents not-for-profit (NFP) long-term care provider organizations throughout Kansas . KAHSA's mission is to assist our members to give elders what they want by: influencing public policy; providing leadership on social, economic and political issues; sharing information and promoting collective networking opportunities.
